my television has blank screen,no sound and power switch flashing?

my tv went off last night,the same.i tried to turn it on but black screen,no sound and flashing stand buy light.i was an electronics tester/builder for years,so i whipped the back off checked all the internal fuses mine had 2 fuses but they where ok.i noticed with the back off i could hear a clicking sound comeing from the ht coil,very danger area do not touch,about 25 thousand volts.so im asumeing its the tube gone.and am soon binning it for a newer flat screen lcd tv for about 100 pounds from your local tesco shop.cheers gary jenkins,cambridge.
