My servis caress 1000 washing machine wont spin at all I have checked the belt and that is ok I have also checked the carbon brushes and there seems to be no issues also there odesnt seem to be any damage to the motor can anyone help by adviseing what else I can check?
I had the same problem today and came to this web page for answers. However, mine was fixed by disconnecting the grey drain pipe and unblocking it. The water wouldn't leave the machine and it wouldn't spin (on any cycle), the blockage was removed and it works as new. I actually held the pipe over a bucket and switched it on until the water ran free. Good luck

hi check the seperate circuit board (bottom rear left usually)
they suffer from overheating due to bad connections
