Mend Hotpoint WF640 Soap Tray Cycle

water gushing out off soap tray - hotpoint wf640?

I've cleaned the water jets in the tray but it's still gushing out off the soap tray on the rinse cycle also the machine will stop half way through it's cycle for no apparent reason also can anyone tell me where the filter is!!

might be a blockage of the drainage filter at the bottom of the drum. had the same thing happening to a 2 year old Hotpoint Aquarius wma50. Undid the jubbilee clip and pulled off the rubber bellows under the drum to expose the filter and discovered a couple of my wifes breast pads from when she was feeding the babies.

its the pump thats blocked remove the back (power off) remove the pump and clean out
