Mend AEG 645 sensotronic Start Fills Drum

aeg lavamat 645 sensotronic?

I have an AEG 645 sensotronic if you start the cycle it fills with water & empties again but the drum dosnt activate at all. I have checked the belt which is ok & the motor is free in operation with no lift in the bearings but it refuses to operate.

I had the same problem The brushes on the motor were worn so all the systems checked out OK but as power was not getting to the motor it did not turn.
