How can I fix the slow accelleration on a manual ford mondeo?

What kind of engine have you got? Anyway, tune it up! That is:change spark plugs,air filter; check the spark plug wires ( If you have a gasoline engine that is!): are they old, cracked, hard? Then if there is no improvement,You'll have to get the air intake path thoroughly cleaned; Is your air mass sensor working properly? Also include injectors on your list. They get dirty very easily.
