Twice,I had bought a whirlpool and Maytag frontload washer.After ayear and ahalf to 2 years it starts leaving what looks like rust or oil stains on clothes.Nothing takes it out-Why does that do that and is there any way to fix that??

the problem is caused by the door rubber inner seal.dirt gets trapped in the seal and sometimes the washing rubs against it causing the stains.remove the seal and clean it thoroughly.you will be surprised how dirty it is.
