How do I fix my electrolux 6500SR that runs but has no suction?

If the motor runs, and sounds fine then there should be suction where the hose connects to the vacuum. Take off the hose and see if there is suction at the machine with the hose off.

I expect that there is suction there. IF this is the case then the hose has an issue. Connect the hose to the vacuum, see if there is suction at the end of the hose...

IF there is none then the hose is clogged, if there is very little, then the hose is likely cracked inside and must be replaced..

Also if there is suction at the hose as tested above, then connect the wands and check for suction a the end of the wands...

You also could have a clogged Power Nozzle,
