Problems with Steamer ss-1000?

The stream doesn't come out the hose, it start coming out from the top of the knob, has anyone found a way to fix it.

GIVE IT THE LAST RIGHTS. COMPANY NO LONGER EXISTS. CAN'T GET IT REPAIRED OR PARTS. IT SEEMS THE "SHUT-OFF/ON VALVE" GETS STUCK.
NO SOLUTION. LASTED 4 YEARS WITH ALWAYS DRAINING WATER OUT AFTER USE. STILL GOT STUCK.
THE VALVE IS INSIDE. AM GOING TO TRY CALCIUM BUILD-UP REMOVER.
