How to fix my CD player?

My cd player wont play anymore and when I put in the cd it gives me an error and it does not start to spin.
Phillips boom box cd player.

my cd player in my car works but there is no sound coming out from it. i hooked up speakers but nothing. everything else works but its all of the speaker conections (the fronts and backs) thats messed up..........help!
