Mend Briggs & Stratton 460707 Lawn Mowers Engine

Brigss & Str. 2 cyl. L head, Model 460707?

Engine 2 years old; no compression right side, removed head, no hole in piston, valves opening & closing corectly; installed head again ---no compression again! I am stumped,

problem might have been there since new?

The only thing left is the rings.
A leakdown test is the only sure way to test it.
