how can i re programme my mercedes key fob?

my key fob isn't working for 2007 Mercedes c230. changed the batteries as well and the led light wont even light up. any suggestions? ive even wiped down with alchohol swab just incase any corrosion.

Had a similar problem with my Mercedes 200c Elegance (N reg).

Guess what??? It works perfectly!!!

take out the batteries in the key fob. put new batteries in the fob. put the key fob, with key into the ignition socket and keep the "lock door" button depressed for about a minute. withdraw the fob and put it back into ignition as normal. All should be ok.
IT IS BEST TO DO THIS EXERCISE ON A MB SERVICE FORECOURT, WHEN YOU BUY NEW BATTERIES. IF YOU HAVE NO LUCK A MECHANIC USUALLY TAKES 5 MINUTES TO REDO.

try changing the battery in the key fob first my be flat,if not you need to go 2 mercedes
