help my nissan primera wont start?(V REG 2 LITRE)?

I BOUGHT A NEW BATTERY FOR MY CAR CHANGED THE BATTERY AND IT DONT START, GOT A SPARK AND CAN SMELL THE FUEL COMING INTO THE ENGINE! IT WAS RUNNING OK UNTIL I CHANGED IT
