Mend Nissan Micra Fitted Starts Engine

what is wrong with my nissan micra?

Had a new automatic gearbox fitted last month - now it starts and goes once but when I try to restart engine on return journey it just won't start. Could it be a loose connection in gearbox. The battery is fine. It was such an expensive job I am afraid to take it back to garage that fitted it. I had the same 'symptoms' when the gearbox was going last time. Any ideas what I can do?
