Mend Lexmark X1190 Comes Out Black

Lexmark X1190 Scanner no matter what I try to scan it comes out black?

I've tried different different size pages and it detects the page
size, as it only shows up a black image the size of the docket placed on the scanner. It's not what I'm scanning as I've tried an ordinary A4 page with some plain text on it with the same output. Is it repaireable?

It sounds like your ccd is failing in the scanner. If this is the case, it will be cheaper to buy a new printer
