i have vauxhall zafira 2005 85000 miles.its smokes alot of white smoke on start up and burns alot of oil,then when she been runnin for about 5min stops smokin white smoke but if you full rev it light black smoke comes out and wets the floor exhaust area.I do have a video but unsure if im ok to send it.many thanks also must say it runs lovely
Could well be both worn piston rings & bores, as well as valve stem seals. I'd suspect the former if the oil & filter haven't been changed every 9000 miles. The cam chain may be the next thing to give up.

its had new filter and loads of oil as it uses so much,im thinking maybe rings or steam seals

Give the poor thing a new oil filter and change the oil.

white smoke norm means u have overfilled the sump,drain some oil out,then it should be ok
