I have a new black and decker drill charger and it work, the green light comes on for a second then goes out ive only used it 4 times , I cant take it back because I lost ths bill if is a 18 v model no hp188f4l can u help
how do I connect the hp188f4l to a car battery to fix the same problem listed here. People seem happy about the answer to fix it, i could do with a step by step on this part? Thanks

How old are the batteries?
Have them be left drained for more than 1 or 2 days? If the batteries have been left drained to long, they are DEAD!
Stored Li-ion batteries slowly loose their charge and need to be recharged about every 6 months when NOT used.
Your charger may be OK, but the batteries dead.
Try with another battery.
Most of the time, the charger outlive the batteries.
