Mend Bushes 8512 Washing Machine Repair Motor

is it the bushes diplomat 8512 washing machine?

my washing machine is not spinning so we assumed it was the bushes and went on to to look for the motor which we found underneath and proceeded to remove the motor but not sure if we have found the bush or not please help and tell us where are the bushes and where we could purchase.

The motor on my 8512 is definately brushless. My problem was similar to above. The motor seemed like it was struggling and made this grumbling sound with the drum struggling to turn. It would spin fine but just struggled on the wash cycle.
I fixed it by replacing a capacitor located by lifting off the top lid and at the back right hand side of the machine. It has two spade connectors supplying it and is rated to 20.
It comes out by loosening the nut. I just took it to my local spares shop and got a new one for about £18.

I know this question was posted in February but it may be of help to someone else in future.

My diplomat 8512 stopped spining. The problem was the wires that feed the the motor. I don't think the motor has brushes, it appears to be an induction motor. The insulating layer of the wires attached to the side of the motor have got very brittle and starting to wear away. One of the green wires had completely broken. I was able to solder it back together. Probably not the best solution but the wire had snapped near the connector and it was quick.

they are called brushes not bushes and they will be situated on either side of the motor and are norm black
