Mend Canon a640 Camera Lens Digital

My lens is jammed, it wont retract or extend. Canon a640?

THe lens wont extend out and it wont go back in...

If it is still in warrenty you could contact Canon and possibly get it replaced. My friend had an olympus replaced after warrenty as it had a sliding door which broke with many customers (even got a free upgrade). Nothing ventured, nothing gained!!!
