Mend Peugeot Trekker 50cc Wont Spark Plug

Pegueot Trekker 50cc wont start, no spark at the plug?

I fitted a new piston and rings to my pegeueot trekker, a new spark plug, a new ht lead, but the bike wont start, I've tested the plug by putting on to a metal part of the bike but there isnt a spark, can anyone help. thanks a million ray
