How can I fix my BellSouth 8867?

If the unit has a red light flashing it indicates a new message on the caller ID. To stop the light from flashing all new calls will need to be reviewed. If the unit has a green light flashing, it indicates a new message in the voice mail. To stop the light from flashing, the messages need to be played back. On some caller IDs, the light being on solid indicates the phone line is in use. If you do not have visual message indicator through the Phone Company but the green light is still flashing, you need to contact you local Phone Company to have them turn the signal off.
