Mend Hotpoint TDL11 Dryer Drum Noise

Hotpoint TDL11 Dryer, Drum makes scrapeing noise !!!?

The dryer makes terrible scrapping noise when drum turns,why is this ???

Hotpoint Hotpoint TDL11 Household Appliances, Tumble Dryers Dryer Drum Noise

you will find that at the front of the drum just under the lip you have got a felt belt on which the drum rotates on if you feel this gap you will find that the gap is uneven this is due to wear in the belt, All you need is a new felt belt typically £11 and then fit it and presto your sorted.
