My fix my27pt6441/37 phillips 32" television, it won't turn on?

I have had my television for 2 years and have never had a problem with it. I turned in on one day for about 30 minutes while I was getting ready for work, and when I came home the TV would not turn on. I changed the batteries in the remote, I tried turning it on manually and still nothing has happend. I have heard that with certain model TV that there is some sort of fuse problem.
