My New Home Memory Craft 6000 won't run?

When I switch it on, the bulb lights up, but the function doesn't work. I tried moving the on/off rocker switch, left the machine for a day, then when I switched it on again it worked fine for a couple of hours, then just stopped and hasn't worked since. There is no sound from the motor when I depress the pedal, it has simply stopped working, though the bulb still lights up, so there isn't a problem with the plug or socket. Any ideas and can I fix it? Or could it be the memory board?
