Color error on JVC TV big tube?

I have a jvc tv that is about 12 inches. When I turn it on it has color but after a few hours the color is gone and goes to black and white.

i have the same problem... 32" zenith tube TV from 1991. it has beautiful color for the first half hour, then goes black and white. i assume something is over heating or burned out... any HELP????
