Mend Zanussi DES 959 Dishwasher Pump

how can I fix my zanussi des 959 dishwasher?

There is water in the bottom of the machine up to the edge of the big filter but, no alarms have sounded / shown on the screen so I cant understand what the problem is.

Could it be the pump?

help please.

take the left hand side panel off (screws at back) and check the iwms (tank with lots of tubes in)for black mould growth.these become blocked up and cause faults

Check the bottom of the dishwasher with all of the filters removed. There could be a build up of grease around the exit pipe which will stop the pump running
