What is the meaning 0f Alarm Code AL 2?

I would guess - stopping mid cycle - a defective heating element - not getting hot - not heating the water - but what do I know?

The user manual for a different Zanussi machine groups together the Alarms AL 1,2,3,7,&8 - gives no explanation and suggests you call for a service engineer.

Question - when the machine does stop mid cycle - is the water warm or cold?
