Mend Zanussi DS11 Dishwasher Pump

Zanussi DS11 dishwasher counter top model?

The machine will not proceed to the discharge (pump out) mode after the rinse. It just continues to rinse non stop. I have emptied the water out several times by tipping the machine over the sink. It starts OK and proceeds thru the fill, wash, and then rinse but that is as far as it will go. What is the matter and can I fix it?
