Mend Boss BPS242 Heating Problem Instructions

BR1 receiver?

I have a problem with the receiver, the green light was on but heating would not come on ,I followed the instructions on here, pressing the reset button for 4 seconds then the set button, and then the learn button on my boss therm bps242
Now I have no light on the receiver at all
Help please
