Mend Hover Hot Washing Machine

My plug is getting hot on hover washing machine ?

My plug is getting really hot. The fuse holder has melted.

Replace the plug.

Was the old one one of those "Duraplug" rubber plugs? They were notorious for developing a poor contact in the fuseholder.

If it is a rewirable plug and not a moulded-on one, you could, if you are competent, open it up and check the terminals are all tight and that the fuse contacts are clean and tight.
