Mend Worcester 28i junior Boiler Pcb Overheat

Worcester 28i junior, water temperature is far too hot?

Water temperature is nearly boiling not responding to temperature adjustment on front of boiler I've replaced PCB any ideas on what else could be causing this problem fault light flashes once per 2nd to indicate ignition cutout/boiler overheat ?
