Can I fix my cantilever parasol?

The locking mechanism that is used to move up and down the main pole and lock the parasol in either open or closed position snapped on the first use, is there any way to replace that piece?

By Locking Mechanism - presumably you mean the hub that has all the spokes attached to it.

Depending on the material - wood - metal or plastic - you may be able to repair it - if it's new then make a warranty claim.

I doubt that you'll be able to buy a replacement for the broken piece.
