I've started to take my teak garden furniture apart to sand and restain with 3 coats Ronseal. I've had this furniture approx. 10 years and needless to say all the brass fitting that hold the chairs together have rotten and need replacing. However, the chairs were probably made in the far east and I am struggling to find a supplier in the UK of those kind of fittings. I would appreciate if anyone else has been through this problem and found a solution that they would share. Thanks
Okay I have a happy ending to my garden furniture story. I tracked down a supplier in Indonesia who makes the fittings and he supplied me everything at a very reasonable cost. My garden furniture now looks like new.
