Mend Sharp NX-5400F Error Register Key

How to fix 1E-03 error in my NX-5400F?

My NX-5400F electronic cash register shows 1E-03 error on tue screen once I key in an item, how can I sort this out?

You could read the manual. You'll see IE-03 is "Clerk not signed on"
