Mend Accents G4 Fuse Blowing Replaced

Accents G4 battery fuse keeps blowing. ?

Newly installed G4 keeps blowing the battery fuse as soon as battery is connected. Battery & fuse replaced but keeps blowing.
System works fine on mains power no faults showing 3 pirs, 2 door sensors, 1glass break, 1 PA & 1 Bell.
