Intermittent operation?

Channel selection using the remote control's numbered operation is intermittent at best, and the volume + and - do not work.

You must enter a 3-digit code (as found in your Humax instruction book) to set the Volume Buttons to operate your make of TV.

PS. Erratic operation with this box - first thing to try is switch it off or unplug it at the mains socket, then plug it back again.

Isn't that a Freeview box rather than a satellite receiver?

That being the case, I assume that you are in the UK?

If it's a recent purchase why not tak it back?

If you've had it more than 12 months, I suggest you get a new remote.
