Diplomat APL5706 oven not working?

My cooker developed a problem where anything related to the oven stopped working (elements, grill, lamp, timer), although electric igniters still worked for the gas burners.
I have changed the function selector switch which has made no difference.
I was looking to obtain a timer as the next step, but these are no longer available. Can someone advise how to bypass the timer to see if I can get the other functions going and check if it a timer fault.
As I cannot get hold of a manual either, cannot check wiring diagram.
Can anyone help?
