Oven light on but not working?

Its unusual for both the fan and heat to fail together, if the oven was on auto the interior light would not come on either, so it must be something that affects just the fan and heater. Difficult to diagnose without seeing the oven but it could be an overheat cut out has operated due to a faulty thermostat.

If your light is on and the fan is running and the thermostat light is on then the fault will be the element. The element is behind the back panel inside the oven. If you want to avoid a call out charge you can get an element and fit it yourself..... ISOLATE THE OVEN FROM THE MAINS BEFORE STARTING ! remove the back panel, remove the 3 screws holding the element and gently ease it forward so the wires do not come off, fit wires in same place on new element and refit.
