Mend Red Light Minutes

Keeps switching to red anti calc light ?

When I turn on the iron the green light comes on and remains on for a few minutes whilst ironing but then the light goes off and the red light comes on. Steam is intermittent

You do not say the make or model of your iron but no matter.

The red anti-calc light is telling you something - probably the need to clean out any calcium deposits that might interfere with steam output.
