My Samsung Cool n Cool fridge freezer RL33SBNS freezes but fridge not cool?

I realised that my fridge has been faulty for days due to food coming out of it warm! My freezer had frozen rivulets down the drawers and I discovered a frozen pool, as if from a spillage, in the bottom drawer. I have cleaned it all,removed and cleaned the seals, which were detached at the bottom of both doors, I took off the back panel inside the freezer and took out a few small bits of ice.

Now everything is switched back on and the freezer is working but the fridge still isn't.

I saw some post elsewhere with the exact same problem. This is the answer...

Common problem on the RL33 range if you havent had it sorted yet.

It's due to the rubber drain valve that gets sticky and closes up then when the unit goes into defrost the water cannot drain into the drip tray. if you defrost the unit and pull the rubber flap off then you wont have the problem again, This wont cause problems in the long term as it was a recognised carry out for samsung engineers.


WHAT IS THE RUBBER DRAIN VALVE AND WHERE IS IT!!?
