Mend Oven Switch Working

Halogen oven switch not working properly?

Hi all, my halogen oven click switch is now being a pain and I had to keep moving the bowl to get it to stay on. Now it works when lid is half way down but goes off when lid fully closed. (If I press the switch by hand it works perfectly). Is there a cure.
