Mend Peugeot 307 Car Week Stopped

I need help with Peugot 307 cabriolet can't get roof down.Help please?

Hi I have recently bought a Peugot 307 cabriolet. I had the car for about a week and the roof stopped working. It won't go down although it beeps when I press the button. I would be eternally grateful if someone could tell me how to fix this.
