Mend KitchenAid Superba Reset Door Button

How do I reset my Kitchen Aid microwave/oven with DOOR LOCKED button flashi?

My Kitchen Aid Superba oven/microwave has its DOOR LOCKED light flashing I cannot figure out what to do. I tried to turn off all power but couldn't. When I open the oven it makes a noise like it is trying to latch and then stops.

btw, this happened after the power went off for 45 minutes while we were away
