Mend Scantronic 500+ Alarm System Security

500+ siren 'pinging'?

The siren on my Scantronic 500+ alarm system has started to 'ping' every 5 minutes or so. Nothing shows on the panel. What is that all about and how do I stop the pinging?

are you sure its the bell box?no inside units sounding?replace the internal battery of the control panel if its more than 5 years old
