Yes you can replace it - contact a domestic appliance spares outfit - in the UK e-spares or a-part-4-u - be sure to tell them the make and model.
And what do you mean by "worn out" ? You can always take it out and immerse it in caustic soda for an hour or two - that'll smarten it up.
