Mend Hotpoint TDC30 Drive Belt Drum

Drive Belt Snaped+ Front support panel worn, Drum loose?

My TDC30 Tumble Dryer has snaped its belt and so dismantled it, Only to find a loose Drum and a very worn front support panel. can I repair the support panel which holds the drum in place, and how do I put the new belt back on without causing more damage. I enquired at one shop for parts and it came to 76 pounds, Is this job cost effective, Regards John.
