My Hotpoint washing machine keeps flashing H20?

OK, so having read through all these I managed to get an idea of the cause of the problem, blocked outlet pipe, so I pulled the machine out and the outlet pipe had a huge lump of ice around it! Once we had gently heated, by heating the kitchen (we had been away for the week whilst temperatures held at a minus figure all week) the ice melted and the machine now works fine.

I have a hotpoint ultima 7kg machine and it will start to fill, then just sit there doing nothing for about 5 mins, then flash the H20 sign and start to fill again. it will then complete the cycle fine.

how can i fix this please?

Hi I had same problem with my hotpoint flashing H20,i did how Jim sad and problem solved,that mean clear pipe was disconnected on back of soap dispencer ,connected back and working normal.thanks for help

wf740 error code h2o, checked marys advice about the clear plastic hose. low and behold, there it was just hanging there. reconnected it, everything back to normal. this is a vacum pipe and will cause all sorts of problems. thanks very much.

I had same problem:

Removed lid and found a clear plastic pipe at rear of soap dispencer had come away from its connrction. Simply pushed back on and problem solved!
