Mend Macallister 1800W Mitre Saw

How can I fix my Macallister mitre saw ?

My Macallister 1800W mitre saw works fine but, when I release the trigger the saw does not slow down, and is very noisy when it does stop !

It may be that the blade securing bolt has loosened and that the blade is free-wheeling after the motor comes to a halt.
