The drain pump on my washer dryer is making a very funny noise, so I'm guessing it's on the way out. I can get a replacement on line, but is it a big job to replace? Can I do it myself?
PS. All general DIY task undertaken, so I have some experience.
pull it completely out.lay it on its back.pump is attached to the side of the filter housing.you have to release the pump tabs and pull it out.Not the easiest of machines to change the pump on but with care can be done.DO NOT lay the machine on its side as water can enter the electrics causing irreparable damage
