Due to the age and symptoms described, it's very likely the cathode ray 'tube' has failed.
Other faults, even a minor component failure, can cause a green picture but the fact it's 22 years old, would indicate the tube.
You would not obtain a new tube for this model. It would be a very expensive repair even if a reconditioned tube were available.
I consider a TV's age a bit like we apply to cats 'n dogs, about 7 to every human year, so that'd make your TV over 150! :O)
