Mend Zenith pdp50x30000 Problem Model 50

how to fix this problem?

Zenith Model # pdp50x30000 50 inch plasma. Watching Tv and a bang sounded from the tv, like a gun going off, then the picture turned dull and redish. The sound still is working great. This same thing happened in 2008.

Not so simple, Under warranty, I didnt fix it, and unsure of exactly what was replaced. This is why Im looking for some help. The cost to bring into a tv repair shop exceeds what I think the value of the tv is. So im trying to seek some repair knowledge from someone who had the same experience or knows what they are talking about, so I can save some money vs. repair bills.
